The local school is small and only goes to Grade 10. After which, the children are bussed to a larger town to finish their education.
For generations, families in fishing communities have survived of the bounties of the ocean. The family trade was passed from father to son. Now it is a way of life that has all but vanished. With the government ban there are no jobs, and only a few fishing communities remain.
