The youth of LaPoile are no different than young people anywhere else. They wear the same trendy clothes and listen to the same music.
For generations, families in fishing communities have survived of the bounties of the ocean. The family trade was passed from father to son. Now it is a way of life that has all but vanished. With the government ban there are no jobs, and only a few fishing communities remain.
